As part of Amazon Prime Day 2019, Indian consumers will be able to test products in virtual reality in spaces provided for this purpose in six major cities of the country.
On July 15, 2019, Amazon organizes its famous Prime Day. As every year, this event day will be an opportunity to enjoy exceptional promotions on many products in all categories.
For the first time, the e-commerce giant will set up “Amazon Prime Day VR” experience zones in six cities in India: NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
Within these zones, users will be able to test the products on sale that interest them in virtual reality before deciding whether or not to purchase.

In VR, products can be viewed in real size, 360 degrees, in a variety of environments. Thus, potential buyers will be able to take the time to visualize the product from every angle and in a realistic environment, without the need to switch to the purchase.

This is not the first time that Amazon has explored the avenues offered by v-commerce. For Prime Day 2018, such VR kiosks had been opened in a dozen malls in the United States. This year, it is India that will benefit from this innovation.
