Form Swim Goggles are swimming goggles that provide valuable information, in real time, to swimmers. They will be launched in early August for $200.
Once in the water, swimmers have no way of knowing what exact distance they have traveled and even less time that has elapsed. The surprise arrives at the moment of arrival. It’s pretty embarrassing whether it’s in competition or during a training.
Swimming goggles are designed to protect the eyes from water and to avoid irritating the eyes with the pool water and the chlorine it contains. A revolutionary new model of swimming goggles is shaking up the game.
Form Swim Goggles: Augmented Reality for Swimming
The start-up Form has developed augmented reality swimming goggles. As you swim, you can follow different activity indications in real time. No information on meeting reminders, received messages or a call in progress, but you will know the elapsed time, the distance traveled but also the swimming pace. The glasses have a small built-in computer that displays information about the transparent glasses.
That’s not all because Form Swim Goggle glasses can be paired with a free application running on Android or iOS. This app allows you to track your swimming stats and share training data with other people. The data display can also be customized. These glasses are waterproof up to 10 meters deep. They will be marketed from August 7th and will be sold for $200.
